Exosome supply for Austin practices

An Austin clinic cleared for wholesale purchasing may order biomolecular signaling vesicles (exosomes) by the lot; each one is packed on dry ice in Florida and carried into Travis County along the Texas route. Austin prescribers have a second channel as well: a patient-specific prescription can go to our 503A compounding pharmacy partner, whose pharmacists prepare it, dispense it and mail it out from inside Texas.

When an order reaches an Austin practice

Exosome material for an Austin account ships frozen from Florida, packed on dry ice, and the Texas route's transit window appears in the panel near the top of this page. Prescriptions sent to the compounding partner never ride in that carton: the pharmacy works through them one by one and mails each from within Texas, addressed either to the prescribing clinic or to the patient's home, using whatever shipping suits that formulation.

Three event calendars shape Austin deliveries. SXSW fills downtown from 15 to 21 March 2027. Ahead of the 2026 spring festival season the city warned of road closures, enforced every no parking and tow-away zone, and published a mobility guide marking closures and loading zones. Austin City Limits takes over Zilker Park at 2100 Barton Springs Road on two early October weekends, with park roads closed and neighborhood parking restricted. The Formula 1 race weekend at Circuit of the Americas follows from 22 to 25 October 2026.

Ice causes the longer gaps. Camp Mabry measured 5.4 inches of snow on 15 February 2021 and a low of 7°F on the 16th. In January 2026 the Austin-Travis County Emergency Operations Center activated under an Extreme Cold Warning, and City facilities closed to the public on Monday 26 January. We never pause a placed order. A carton already on the road stays in carrier hands until Austin streets thaw, which is why an Austin office planning an ice day off orders after its doors reopen.

Cold-chain receiving at an Austin address

Heat peaks in August at Austin receiving doors. Camp Mabry's normal high that month is 97.8°F, and the station saw 80 days reach triple digits during 2023, so a carton sitting on a dock or inside a parked van all afternoon burns off its dry ice fast. Shutting it in a small mailroom trades one problem for another, because the sublimating ice builds up carbon dioxide in the air.

After an ice storm or a heat wave, check power next. Austin Energy is a department of the City of Austin, and a clinic on its grid makes sure the freezer has been holding temperature before reordering. At delivery, the person the account names as signer opens the carton, looks for leftover dry ice, notes the arrival time alongside the lot code, then moves the vials straight into frozen storage. Following the manufacturer's guidance on handling, Austin stock is held at -20°C for extended storage, and a thawed vial goes to 4°C.

Rules that apply to an Austin order

  • Austin Development Services hands out a certificate of occupancy once new construction or a significant renovation passes final inspection, and a temporary certificate may allow a commercial space to be occupied, stocked and furnished sooner. We add a newly built-out Austin suite to the account for delivery only after one of those two documents exists.
  • An unincorporated Austin practice using a DBA records it with the Travis County Clerk, for $23 with one owner plus $0.50 per added owner. The Clerk stopped recording incorporated assumed names on 1 September 2019; those entities register with the Texas Secretary of State.
  • During an emergency, the City of Austin alerts through IPAWS across Travis, Williamson and Hays counties, and its Ready Central Texas pages point residents to Warn Central Texas registration; those notices, not the carrier, tell an Austin office when roads are safe to receive on.

Federal and Texas rules for an order

Places near Austin with their own rules

Round Rock is a separate city, mostly in Williamson County with a small area south along IH 35 in Travis County. Texas asks an unincorporated business to file its assumed name with the county clerk of each county where it keeps an office, so a Round Rock suite on the Williamson side files with the Williamson County Clerk rather than in Travis County. Dallas and Houston share the Texas lane with Austin but answer to their own counties and city codes, and each has its own page.

Austin questions

Our Austin clinic sits just off Sixth Street. Do we plan orders around SXSW?
Plan for it. SXSW runs 15 to 21 March 2027, and during spring festival season the city closes downtown streets, tows from posted no parking zones and limits curb access. Nothing placed is held back on our side, so stock the freezer before that week begins or schedule arrival for afterward, and check that your signer can get to the street door.
We are off Barton Springs Road near Zilker Park. Does Austin City Limits change a delivery?
It can. The festival occupies Zilker Park on two early October weekends, the park is closed to anyone without a ticket, park roads close and neighborhood no parking signs are enforced. Ask for delivery on a weekday clear of the festival, and update the receiving hours on file so the driver is not turned away at a locked door.
Ice shut Austin streets while our shipment was in transit. Where does it wait?
It sits with the carrier, inside its sorting network, until crews have Austin streets drivable again; meanwhile our team follows each scan and phones the contact your clinic listed. Should the carton land with every pellet of dry ice gone to vapor, we ship a replacement. Refunds for other late arrivals are decided case by case, and the test is whether the cold chain held for the exosome material from dispatch to delivery.

Exosome material is supplied for topical aesthetic use by licensed practitioners. No exosome product is FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Full regulatory notice.
