Regulatory notice
Compounded preparations. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not verify their safety, effectiveness or quality before they are dispensed. Each preparation is compounded and dispensed by our 503A pharmacy partner, licensed by its state Board of Pharmacy, on a patient-specific prescription from a licensed prescriber; ExaVeyra Sciences does not compound, dispense or prescribe. ExaVeyra makes no claim that any preparation is safe or effective for any condition. Availability depends on the pharmacy’s license in the destination state and on whether the substance may be compounded under federal and state law. Prescribing, patient selection and scope of practice are the responsibility of the licensed prescriber. ExaVeyra Sciences is a supplier: it does not provide medical care, does not consult with patients and takes no part in clinical decisions.

The Analytical Chemistry of Longevity Clinic Compounds
NAD+ stability and why it matters for IV therapy
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is thermolabile and photosensitive. In solution, it degrades through hydrolysis of the glycosidic bond between nicotinamide and the ribose unit, producing nicotinamide and ADP-ribose. This degradation is accelerated by heat, light, and pH excursions. For IV-grade NAD+ supply, cold-chain integrity during shipping is a quality requirement, not a logistics preference. The potency assay on the COA should be HPLC with UV detection at 260nm, which is specific for the intact NAD+ molecule. Absorbance at 340nm, which is sometimes reported, measures reduced NADH and is inappropriate for oxidized NAD+ quantification.
Glutathione: reduced versus oxidized forms
Glutathione exists in reduced (GSH) and oxidized (GSSG) forms. The biologically active form for IV therapy is the reduced form (GSH). During storage and handling, oxidation converts GSH to GSSG, reducing potency. A COA that does not specify which form was measured or does not report the GSH:GSSG ratio leaves the actual potency of the preparation uncharacterized. ExaVeyra requests explicit GSH quantification by HPLC for every glutathione lot, along with oxidized impurity reporting.
Methylene blue: pharmaceutical versus research grade
Methylene blue is available in multiple purity grades ranging from laboratory reagent (technical grade, typically 82% purity) to USP pharmaceutical grade (99%+ purity). For clinical use in any context, only pharmaceutical or compounded-grade methylene blue with appropriate potency and impurity testing is appropriate. Impurities in lower-grade methylene blue include azure dyes and other phenothiazine derivatives that are unsuitable for human use. ExaVeyra supplies only pharmacy-partner-sourced methylene blue with explicit purity documentation and does not source technical-grade reagents for clinical formulary accounts.
Handling compounded preparations: the pharmacy label governs
Each compounded preparation is dispensed for a named patient with the pharmacy's label, beyond-use date and storage instructions, and those govern how it is handled. ExaVeyra does not issue reconstitution or administration guidance; a question about a specific preparation goes to the dispensing pharmacy.

Questions from Longevity Clinics and IV Bars
What preparations are available for IV therapy clinics?+
Compounded NAD+, glutathione and related preparations are dispensed by our 503A pharmacy partner on a patient-specific prescription, each with the pharmacy's label and release documentation. Availability depends on the pharmacy's license in the destination state. Apply for NPI-verified access to receive the current formulary and state coverage confirmation.
How does 503A compounding apply to a longevity clinic?+
Our 503A pharmacy partner prepares each compounded preparation for an identified patient on a valid prescription, where the preparation is not commercially available in the required strength or dosage form. ExaVeyra does not supply compounded preparations as office stock, and prescribing decisions rest with the licensed practitioner.
How are compounded preparations stored and handled?+
Each preparation ships with the dispensing pharmacy's label, which states its beyond-use date and storage condition. Those instructions govern; ExaVeyra does not issue separate reconstitution or handling guidance.
What is the minimum order for IV compounds?+
Compounded preparations are dispensed by our 503A pharmacy partner on a patient-specific prescription, so there is no minimum order. Exosome formulations and devices carry their own case quantities, released after NPI verification.
How do compounded preparations ship?+
Compounded preparations ship from our 503A pharmacy partner in Texas, which sets the packaging for each preparation, to the clinic or directly to the patient depending on the formulation. Ask about shipping for a specific formulation.
Can longevity clinics get a custom formulary review?+
Yes. Approved accounts receive a dedicated account manager who reviews state availability and documentation for the preparations a practice expects to prescribe. Prescribing decisions remain with the licensed practitioner.
