Exosome supply for Park City practices
Park City practices on a verified wholesale account can order biomolecular signaling vesicles (exosomes), which leave Florida frozen and come to Summit County by carrier on the Utah lane. Our 503A pharmacy partner is licensed in Utah as a nonresident pharmacy, so Park City prescribers may send it individual prescriptions as well, each compounded and shipped from Texas.

When an order reaches a Park City practice
Frozen exosome material crosses from Florida to Park City on the Utah carrier lane, within the transit window given in the panel. In winter the last stretch is what moves the date. UDOT's traction law names I-80 in Parleys Canyon, US-40 in Summit and Wasatch Counties, and Marsac Avenue at the south end of SR-224 in Park City.
Parleys Canyon uses two classes of the requirement. Class 1 covers only vehicles over 12,000 pounds gross weight, such as large commercial trucks and buses, and Class 2 covers every vehicle. Drivers learn which class is in force from road signs, message boards and the UDOT Traffic app, and a truck not equipped for it waits.
Guardsman Pass, SR-190 and the upper SR-224 toward Brighton, is closed through the winter, typically from November into May or June. Snow at the nearby Snyderville station averages 152.9 inches a year, with January the snowiest month. A placed order leaves Florida as usual, so an office closing for a storm should order after it reopens.
Compounded preparations ship on a separate schedule. The pharmacy partner compounds each one for a single prescription and sends it from Texas to the Park City clinic or to the patient. Options vary by formulation, so ask us before the first prescription.
Cold-chain receiving at a Park City address
On Main Street, the marked zones on both sides work as fifteen-minute parking before five in the afternoon; from five until midnight they become drop and load zones for permitted ground transportation. Oversized vehicles are barred from Main Street without a special use permit. A Main Street practice should ask for daytime delivery and keep a signer at the desk to meet the driver quickly.
Park City code also assigns sidewalk snow clearing by tier, and Tier II frontage is the property owner's job, so keep the path to the door clear on delivery days. Once the carton is inside, the signer opens it to confirm dry ice remains and moves the vials to a freezer. Park City practices follow the manufacturer's handling instructions for storage, -20°C over the long term and 4°C once thawed. The arrival time and lot written down at the desk are what we review for any replacement or refund.
Rules that apply to a Park City order
- Park City Municipal Corporation requires a business license for businesses within city limits. Confirm the scope, application and renewal steps with the City's business licensing office before opening.
- Park City Municipal Code section 14-4-9 sorts sidewalks into three tiers. The city clears Tier I, the property owner clears Tier II, and Tier III carries no snow removal requirement.
- A suite in the Snyderville Basin, the unincorporated area surrounding Park City, needs a Summit County business license instead. The commercial license costs $275, is not prorated, and must be renewed every 15 January.
- During an emergency, Summit County alerts carry the road closure and evacuation instructions that decide when a carrier can reach a Park City address. Park City Emergency Management coordinates with Summit County Emergency Services.
Areas near Park City on the same lane
Pinebrook, Silver Creek, Wasatch County and Salt Lake City share the Utah lane with Park City, but each sits under a different local layer. Pinebrook and Silver Creek are Snyderville Basin neighborhoods in unincorporated Summit County, so the county license applies there in place of the city one. Wasatch County addresses are reached on US-40, which the traction law also covers. Salt Lake City lies across Parleys Canyon in Salt Lake County, so winter trouble on I-80 can split a Salt Lake office from a Park City one. A single account can list offices in each, with every lot logged to its own address.
Park City questions
- Our Park City office is on Main Street. When can a carrier van stop at our door?
- Before five in the afternoon the marked Main Street zones are fifteen-minute parking, and from five until midnight they serve permitted ground transportation only. Oversized vehicles need a special use permit to be on Main Street at all. Ask for a daytime delivery and keep your named signer at the desk so the hand-off fits inside that window.
- Our clinic is in Pinebrook, in the Snyderville Basin. Does a Park City business license cover it?
- No. Pinebrook is part of the Snyderville Basin, the unincorporated area around Park City, so Summit County licenses the business rather than the city. The county commercial license costs $275, is not prorated and renews each 15 January. Winter access there runs on the same Summit County alerts as in town.
- UDOT has put the traction law into effect in Parleys Canyon. Will our Park City order still arrive?
- It moves once the carrier's truck meets the class in force or the restriction lifts. Until then the parcel stays with the carrier, and the carrier's tracking number shows where the carton is held. A shipper that reaches you with no dry ice left is replaced, and other delays may be refunded depending on whether the exosome material stayed temperature-controlled.
