When a carton reaches a Jackson Hole practice
A frozen carton reaches Jackson inside the transit window in the panel above, and closures on the passes into the valley can delay it. The slide buried both lanes at milepost 10, over 30 feet high and 250 feet wide, and cleanup lasted about fourteen hours.
Summer can close the pass as well. The Big Fill landslide at milepost 12.8 severed the road on 8 June 2024, and WYDOT reopened it through an interim detour at noon on 28 June. A carton that meets a closure may be held or rerouted by the carrier, and wyoroad.info shows each closure as it happens. The carrier's tracking number shows where the carton is being held, and your named signer can follow it there. Dry ice that runs out on the way means a replacement carton, and any other delay may be refunded depending on whether the exosome material stayed temperature-controlled.

In some cases the County issues a certificate of occupancy before final site work, against a surety agreement and financial assurance. Inspections there must occur at least every 180 days to keep a permit active.
Places across Teton Pass from Jackson Hole
Teton Village is in Teton County, Wyoming, and receives on the Jackson lane, but its building work and occupancy run through the County rather than the Town. Driggs and Victor lie over Teton Pass in Teton County, Idaho, on the Idaho lane, so a WYO 22 closure that holds a Jackson carton may not touch them. Driggs requires a business registration for any commercial business inside its city limits, renewed each calendar year by 31 December.
