Exosome supply for Coral Gables practices
Coral Gables practices on a verified wholesale account can order biomolecular signaling vesicles (exosomes), which a carrier brings frozen from Florida. Prescribers in the city may send individual prescriptions to our 503A pharmacy partner, which is registered in Florida as a nonresident pharmacy and ships each compounded preparation from Texas.

When an order reaches a Coral Gables practice
Coral Gables addresses are on the Florida carrier lane. Two local factors can delay a delivery here: the county surge zones and the city's own curfews after a storm.
Surge risk in Coral Gables rises from downtown toward the bay. The city guide defines a planning zone as an area that could see storm surge of 1.5 feet or more, and any address can be checked at coralgables.com/hurricane or miamidade.gov/hurricane. The county map places downtown and Miracle Mile in Zone E and the University of Miami campus in Zone C. Gables Estates, Gables by the Sea and Snapper Creek Lakes sit in Zone A, the highest-risk zone. The city keeps its own map of these zones in its hurricane preparedness guide. Miami-Dade orders each zone out according to the storm's track and projected surge rather than its category alone, and the county Emergency Operations Center or Mayor relays each order through local media.
After a storm the city imposes curfews that it reviews daily and asks people not to drive unless necessary. Orders are not held for a closure, so a practice in a closed area should wait to order until the curfew lifts and it reopens.
Cold-chain receiving at a Coral Gables address
Some Coral Gables practices have a front desk that keeps office hours and no mailroom behind it. There, a package that arrives after closing stays on the truck or waits at the door. The account therefore lists the hours someone can sign, including any midday closure when the desk is empty.
Normal afternoon highs near 91°F in July and August at Miami International use up dry ice quickly in a parked vehicle or on a front step. A practice that shares a front desk with other suites should name its own recipient, since a neighbor signing for the package does not put it in a freezer.
Rules that apply to a Coral Gables order
- Coral Gables requires a certificate of use, inspected by the Fire Department and Development Services and renewed online every year. The city issues its business tax receipt only after that certificate is approved.
- A practice also needs a Miami-Dade County business tax receipt, because the county requires a business inside a municipality to hold both, and both expire on 30 September.
- The city application says not to operate until the certificate of use and the receipt are issued. A new Coral Gables suite should therefore wait for both before it is listed as a delivery address.
- During and after a storm, the city storm line (305-460-5401) and its Everbridge text alerts announce curfews, road closures and reopenings. Those notices decide when a Coral Gables delivery can resume.
Areas near Coral Gables on the same lane
South Miami and Pinecrest are separate municipalities on the same lane, and the county map places their centers in Zone C. Coconut Grove is part of the City of Miami rather than a separate municipality. All of Key Biscayne is in Zone A, and after a storm the village readmits people in tiers and issues no re-entry passes. The Virginia Key approach to the Rickenbacker Causeway also reads as Zone A, so the only road onto the island lies in the first zone ordered out.
Preguntas sobre Coral Gables
- Our office is in Gables by the Sea. Does that change delivery in hurricane season?
- Gables by the Sea reads as Zone A, the highest-risk zone on the county storm surge map. Your office may therefore close well before downtown Coral Gables does. Orders are not held for a closure, so plan them to arrive before an evacuation looks likely or after the county lifts the order and you reopen.
- We are opening a new Coral Gables suite. When can it receive an order?
- Once the city has issued both the certificate of use and the business tax receipt, which its application says must come before the business operates. The certificate needs Fire Department and Development Services inspections, so allow time for them when you plan a first order.
- Does the Miami-Dade receipt replace the Coral Gables one?
- No. Miami-Dade County states that a business located in a municipality needs both a city receipt and a county receipt. Both expire on 30 September each year, and Coral Gables issues its own receipt only after it approves the certificate of use.
