Buying exosomes wholesale for Charleston practices

Charleston practices that are licensed and hold a verified wholesale account can order biomolecular signaling vesicles (exosomes) for topical aesthetic use by licensed practitioners, packed frozen in Florida and carried up the coast into Charleston County on the South Carolina lane. Compounded 503A preparations are not yet offered to Charleston or any other South Carolina address, because our pharmacy partner's South Carolina licence is still pending.

When an order reaches a Charleston practice

A frozen carton comes up the coast from Florida and reaches a Charleston suite inside the transit window in the panel above. Water, more than distance, slows the last miles on the peninsula. Ahead of the remnants of Hurricane Isaias the City activated its flood mitigation plan on 8 October 2026, ran pumps on Morrison Drive, Limehouse Street, Huger Street and Lockwood Drive, and staged barricades citywide; by 11 a.m. on 10 October it counted 21 road closures, with another 7.5 foot high tide due that evening.

The approach roads carry their own work. SCDOT closed two westbound lanes of I-26 at mile marker 210, between exits 209 and 211, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly from 8 June 2026 into July to repair the Eagle Drive bridge after a vehicle strike. In September 2025 it shut the southbound Ashley River bridge on US 17 for repairs and sent West Ashley traffic over the James Island Connector.

Summer heat sets the other limit. Charleston International reached 100°F on 9 July 2026 and 98°F the next day, when 2.01 inches of rain fell, so a carton that sits outside a closed office loses dry ice fast.

Cold-chain receiving at a Charleston address

On a flood morning a driver cannot pass a barricade: City ordinance limits vehicles to 5 mph on any street under six inches or more of water, and Charleston Police ticket drivers who go around a barricade. A practice near Lockwood Drive or Morrison Drive should check TIDEeye for closed streets and give us a receiving contact who can meet the carrier at the nearest open corner or at a dock above the water.

In a hurricane watch, follow the Charleston County Citizens Alert Notification System and keep the practice freezer on backup power, since a closed office cannot sign for a carton. Once it is in hand, open the shipper and see that dry ice is left, write down the arrival time and lot number, and move the vials straight to the freezer. Per the manufacturer's handling instructions, hold them at -20°C for long-term storage and at 4°C once thawed, and leave the empty shipper open so its carbon dioxide can vent.

Rules that apply to a Charleston order

  • Anyone opening, buying or taking over a business in the City of Charleston needs a business licence in its own name from Revenue Collections, at 2 George Street, Suite 1700. Since South Carolina Act 176 standardised local licensing, City licences expire on 30 April, renewals are due on 1 May, and the fee follows the business's gross income and a rate class set by its NAICS code.
  • The City also requires a certificate of occupancy application for every business with a physical location inside city limits, and the licence must issue together with that certificate before the business may operate. Zoning, Building Inspections and the Fire Marshal review each application, which needs a detailed floor plan and is filed through the City's Customer Self Service portal or at the Permit Center at 2 George Street. A newly leased Charleston suite becomes an account delivery address once both documents are issued.
  • During a hurricane evacuation Charleston County routes downtown traffic out on the normal lanes of I-26 and sends West Ashley out on SC 61; a practice that closes for an evacuation order should hold new orders until it reopens.

Towns near Charleston with their own rules

Mount Pleasant and North Charleston share the South Carolina lane with Charleston but license businesses themselves. Mount Pleasant's Business License Division, at the Municipal Complex on Ann Edwards Lane, bases its licence on business activity and gross receipts and expects renewals by 30 April. North Charleston's Business License Office, on the third floor of City Hall at 2500 City Hall Lane, will not issue a licence until the applicant shows compliance with its zoning ordinance and building and fire codes, with a fire inspection for any commercial structure. A City of Charleston licence covers neither town.

Preguntas sobre Charleston

High tides flood the streets around our office near Lockwood Drive. Should we time a Charleston order around them?
Yes. City advisories give the harbor high tide in feet and the hour it peaks, and closures cluster around those morning and evening peaks. Check the forecast tides and TIDEeye before ordering, and pick a week without a flood advisory so the carrier is not turned back at a barricade on the peninsula.
Our West Ashley practice is on the US 17 corridor. What happens if the Ashley River bridges close while a carton is on the way?
When SCDOT closed the southbound Ashley River bridge in September 2025 it sent traffic over the James Island Connector, so a carrier still reaches West Ashley by a longer route. If a closure delays the carton until its dry ice is used up, we ship a fresh one; other late arrivals are settled by checking that the material stayed temperature-controlled from Florida onward.
We are moving from a King Street suite to an office in Mount Pleasant. What do we arrange first?
Mount Pleasant is a separate town, so the practice needs a licence from its Business License Division, based on activity and gross receipts, before it opens there. Send us that licence, the new address and the receiving contact, and the King Street address stays active on the account until the move is complete.
