Cities near Boise with their own rules

Eagle and Meridian ship on the same Idaho lane as Boise but set their own rules. Eagle requires every business inside city limits, commercial or home based, to hold an Eagle business licence at $25 a year, running from 1 July to 30 June with renewals opening in the first week of June; a new tenant with no remodel files a Certificate of Occupancy only application, and no certificate issues until every agency has signed the Eagle Occupancy Request form. Under Meridian City Code 4-2, snow or ice left on a public sidewalk beside private property is an abatable nuisance. Boise approvals cover neither city.
