Will the Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance or the Golden Globes at the Beverly Hilton slow a delivery?

They can, because Rodeo Drive is closed between Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards for the Father's Day car show, and the Golden Globes ceremony is broadcast from the Beverly Hilton on Wilshire Boulevard on a Sunday each January. We do not hold an order for either event, so a practice near those streets can order early enough that the box arrives on another day.

When an order reaches a Beverly Hills practice

Material bound for Beverly Hills crosses the country on the national carrier lane, inside the transit window the panel above shows. The local causes of a late van are street closures in the Business Triangle and construction under Wilshire Boulevard.

Two dates deserve a note in the practice calendar. On Father's Day the Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance fills Rodeo Drive between Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards, and the block is closed from the Saturday evening until late on the Sunday; in 2026 the show fell on 21 June. The 84th Golden Globes broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton, 9876 Wilshire Boulevard, on Sunday 10 January 2027. Separately, LA Metro reports that Section 2 of the D Line subway extension is still being built underground through Beverly Hills, and it publishes lane closure notices for Wilshire that a suite on that boulevard can check before ordering.

We do not pause or reschedule a shipment for a Beverly Hills closure or city alert. A box the carrier cannot hand over stays in its network until the address can receive again, so a practice that expects to shut its doors places the order once it is back open.

Where the occupancy classification changes, the Building Division must issue a new certificate of occupancy before the suite is used.
Beverly Hills classes a business offering elective outpatient cosmetic services, such as injectables, laser procedures or microneedling, as a cosmetic spa, and a cosmetic spa needs a conditional use permit under the city zoning code.
Evacuation and shelter-in-place orders for a Beverly Hills address come from the city, through its BEVHILLS and BHPDALERT texts, the disaster hotline, radio 1500 AM and outdoor sirens that announce in English, Farsi and Spanish.

Century City and Westwood sit across the city line in the City of Los Angeles, on the same national lane as Beverly Hills but under different paperwork. A suite there registers with the Los Angeles Office of Finance for its own Business Tax Registration Certificate instead of the Beverly Hills one, and its emergency alerts arrive through NotifyLA rather than the BEVHILLS text service. Metro is building D Line stations in Century City and Westwood as well, so Wilshire lane notices matter on both sides of the boundary.
