Exosome supply for San Francisco and Marin practices
Practices in San Francisco and southern Marin that hold a verified wholesale account can order biomolecular signaling vesicles (exosomes), which ship frozen from Florida and cross the country on the national carrier lane. Because the pharmacy partner's licence for California is pending, compounded 503A preparations are not offered to any San Francisco, Marin or other California address.

When an order reaches a San Francisco or Marin practice
Frozen material from Florida reaches San Francisco and Marin on the national carrier lane, within the window set out in the panel above. Street closures, more than weather, decide which day a downtown or SoMa suite can take delivery.
SFMTA closed Howard Street between 3rd and 4th streets beside Moscone Center from 5 to 20 September 2026 for Dreamforce, and detoured Howard traffic by 2nd Street to Harrison. For Bay to Breakers on Sunday 17 May 2026, the course shut Howard, Hayes and Fell streets and JFK Drive between 3 a.m. and 2 p.m., section by section. Fleet Week runs 4 to 12 October 2026, with its Fleet Fest at Fisherman's Wharf.
Marin offices sit across the Golden Gate Bridge on US-101. Caltrans shut the bridge in both directions from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 4 July 2026 for fireworks, and the bridge district has scheduled weeknight lane closures for seismic retrofit from 5 October 2026. We do not hold orders around these dates. A box already moving when a street or the bridge closes stays in the carrier network, so a practice that will be shut should place its order after it reopens.
Cold-chain receiving at a San Francisco or Marin address
San Francisco Downtown is mild in July, with a normal high of 66°F, and warmest in September and October, which average close to five days of 80°F or more each. Marin runs hotter: Kentfield averages 83°F in August, so a shipper left on a Kentfield doorstep in late summer spends its dry ice faster than one in a city lobby.
At the San Francisco curb, yellow zones are kept for vehicles with commercial plates and white zones allow five minutes of loading, so tower practices should give us a dock or lobby instruction. In the Marin hills, PG&E planned a power shutoff for parts of Mill Valley on 15 July 2026, and a freezer without backup warms with the building. The named signer checks for dry ice, logs arrival time and lot, and freezes the vials: -20°C long term, 4°C once thawed, per the manufacturer.
Rules that apply to a San Francisco order
- Anyone doing business in San Francisco registers with the Office of the Treasurer and Tax Collector within 30 days of starting, displays the Business Registration Certificate at the office, and renews by the last day of February for a registration year running 1 April to 31 March.
- The Department of Building Inspection issues a Certificate of Final Completion and Occupancy once permitted work passes final inspection, or a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy under Building Code section 109A.4 when only incidental work remains. List a newly built San Francisco suite for delivery after one of them is issued.
- AlertSF, run by the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management, carries traffic disruptions, tsunami and flood warnings and post-disaster notices; one phone can register several ZIP codes, such as the clinic and the receiving signer's home.
Marin cities near San Francisco on the same lane
Mill Valley and San Rafael share the national lane with San Francisco, yet each city licenses businesses on its own terms. Mill Valley requires its own business license for any activity within city limits, on a license year from 1 July to 30 June, and San Rafael asks a new business to apply within 45 days of starting. Mill Valley Police alerts come by texting 94941 to 888-777, separate from AlertSF, and Alert Marin covers emergencies by street address.
San Francisco and Marin questions
- Our suite is a block from Moscone Center. How do Dreamforce street closures affect a delivery?
- In 2026 SFMTA closed Howard Street between 3rd and 4th streets from 5 to 20 September and warned of heavy congestion around Moscone Center from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. Orders are not held, so order before the closure starts or name a working entrance on the account. A shipment reaching you with its dry ice gone is replaced; any other delay may be refunded if the material stayed cold.
- We run clinics in San Francisco and Mill Valley. Which city paperwork does each address need?
- The San Francisco suite needs a Business Registration Certificate from the Treasurer and Tax Collector, and the Mill Valley clinic needs a Mill Valley business license, because each city keeps its own register. Both addresses can sit on one wholesale account for exosome material, and every lot is logged against the clinic that signed for it.
- Can a San Francisco or Marin prescriber send compounded 503A prescriptions through us?
- No, not at present. The pharmacy partner has no California licence yet, so compounded preparations do not ship to San Francisco, Marin or anywhere else in the state. Frozen exosome material ships to these addresses now, and this page and the California guide will change when the licence is granted.
