Exosome supply for Nashville practices

Nashville and Davidson County practices holding wholesale accounts we have verified may purchase our biomolecular signaling vesicles (exosomes). Each Nashville order ships frozen from Florida over a carrier route running north into Middle Tennessee. While the pharmacy partner's Tennessee licence remains pending, we offer no compounded 503A preparation for delivery anywhere in Tennessee, which keeps a Nashville account to exosome material alone.

When an order reaches a Nashville practice

Ice, more than snow, is what stalls a Nashville delivery. Metro's Office of Emergency Management opened its Emergency Operations Center on 23 January 2026 ahead of a Winter Storm Warning, and on 25 January Nashville International logged 1.92 inches of precipitation, none of it counted as snow, while the high reached only 33°F. Mayor O'Connell proclaimed a State of Emergency for Nashville and Davidson County that day in Executive Order 56, citing property damage and power outages across the county, and extended it on 1 February in Executive Order 57. Water is the county's other hazard: OEM ranks flooding first in its Davidson County hazard analysis, and on 1 and 2 May 2010 the airport gauge caught 13.57 inches before the Cumberland crested at 52.55 feet downtown.

Downtown closes for events as well. CMA Fest runs 10 to 13 June 2027, and under the Metro Police traffic plan for Titans games, police shut the Woodland Street Bridge to cars, leaving it to pedestrians and shuttle buses until the game ends. Placed orders keep moving; we do not stop them for weather or crowds. A box caught in ice or festival traffic remains with the carrier until its route clears, so a suite expecting to close times its order to land after it reopens.

Cold-chain receiving at a Nashville address

Nashville summers are hot enough to matter: July averages a high of 90.9°F at the airport, and on about 18 of its days the thermometer reaches 90°F, so a shipper should pass from the driver straight to a freezer instead of waiting in a vehicle or on a sunlit dock. Winter cuts the other way. The day after the January 2026 ice, the airport high was 19°F, and the outages named in Executive Order 56 left suites with idle freezers.

Choose a receiver who is on site through your delivery window and a backup freezer location if the building loses power. Keep the shipper out of a sealed closet, since dry ice vents carbon dioxide that builds up in a closed room. When it comes in, look for dry ice before signing, log the clock time and lot code, and shelve the vials at -20°C; once thawed they belong at 4°C, per the product's own handling sheet from the manufacturer.

Rules that apply to a Nashville order

  • A Nashville business obtains its business tax license, or a minimal activity license, from the Davidson County Clerk at the Howard Office Building on President Ronald Reagan Way. The fee is $30 inside the Urban Service District, the old Nashville city limits, and $15 elsewhere in the county's General Service District.
  • Metro Codes issues a Use and Occupancy permit before a space is occupied for a new use, and its guidance says a business license from any agency does not exempt a tenant from that permit; some regulators ask for a fresh one under a new company name even when the use is unchanged. The Nashville Fire Marshal's Office inspects before the Use and Occupancy letter issues. A newly fitted Nashville suite becomes a shipping destination on the account once that permit is in hand.
  • Tennessee Public Chapter 1016 (House Bill 2246), signed on 26 May 2026 and in force from 1 July 2026, is a state law, so it reads the same in Davidson County as in any other Tennessee county; the Tennessee guide linked below sets out what it says about exosome products.

Places around Nashville that keep their own rules

Belle Meade, Berry Hill, Forest Hills and Oak Hill lie inside Davidson County yet remain incorporated cities with their own governments, so a clinic inside one of them checks that city hall as well as Metro before relying on Metro rules. Brentwood, just south across the line in Williamson County, is outside Metro altogether: a Brentwood practice takes out a City of Brentwood business tax license, with a $15 application fee, and a separate business license from the Williamson County Clerk instead of the Davidson County Clerk.

Nashville questions

Our clinic sits near Lower Broadway. Should we plan orders around CMA Fest in June?
Yes. CMA Fest 2027 runs from Thursday 10 June to Sunday 13 June in downtown Nashville, so a downtown suite should read Metro's closure notices for that week before it orders. Orders are not paused for the festival, so keep frozen stock on hand the week before or set arrival for the Monday after it ends.
Ice hit Nashville while our shipment was on the road. Where does the box go?
It waits at a carrier depot until Davidson County roads open up, and meanwhile we keep an eye on the tracking and ring your listed receiver. In January 2026 the ice brought a Metro State of Emergency and widespread outages. Should the cooler land at your Nashville suite after the last of its dry ice has disappeared, we send a replacement. Other late arrivals are judged by temperature, and a refund follows only if the material is shown to have lost its cold chain.
We are moving into a new suite in The Gulch. Can it receive frozen shipments before Metro Codes signs off?
Not as an account delivery address. Metro Codes requires a Use and Occupancy permit before a Nashville space is occupied for a new use, after Fire Marshal inspections, and a business license does not stand in for it. Send us the permit once it issues and the new suite goes on file for shipping, with your current address active until then.
