When protected officials are present, the town limits South Ocean Boulevard between South County Road and the Southern Boulevard circle to residents and workers with ID. Orders are not held for an evacuation, so island practices should order after the town reopens.

West Palm Beach levies its own local business tax on a 1 October to 30 September year and may inspect a new location first. The county receipt follows the city one.
The Palm Beach County receipt becomes delinquent on 1 October, with penalties of 10 to 25 percent. After a storm, the county re-entry checklist asks businesses to carry it with photo ID and proof of tenancy.
