Dr. Janine Hopkins, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist, entrepreneur, and medical device innovator with more than 30 years of clinical experience. She is the founder and medical director of Hopkins Dermatology, a multi-location dermatology practice serving patients in Louisiana and Texas, and the founder and CEO of Trinnovations, Inc., a company focused on advancing application science and treatment delivery in dermatology and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Hopkins is the inventor of CuraCator™, a sterile, single-use applicator designed to improve the precision, safety, and efficiency of biologic and topical therapies, and CuraStick™, a next-generation hands-free skincare applicator. Her work centers on optimizing how treatments are delivered—bridging innovation, clinical outcomes, and real-world physician adoption.

A national and international speaker, Dr. Hopkins lectures on aesthetic procedures, regenerative treatments, and laser science, with a focus on integrating emerging technologies into clinical practice. She serves as a clinical advisor and key opinion leader to multiple medical and aesthetic companies, contributing to product development, physician education, and commercialization strategy.
Dr. Hopkins is actively involved in clinical research and scientific publication, with work focused on advancing non-surgical skin cancer treatment, imaging-guided therapy, and biologic delivery systems. She is a co-author on peer-reviewed publications including studies on Image-Guided Superficial Radiation Therapy (IGSRT) for non-melanoma skin cancer published in Oncology and Therapy, and has contributed to research on imaging-based treatment optimization. She has also presented scientific posters through the Women’s Dermatologic Society and in collaboration with LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine, highlighting innovations in PRP application, wound healing, and procedural efficiency.
In addition, Dr. Hopkins is a clinical partner with SkinCure Oncology, advancing Image-Guided Superficial Radiation Therapy (IGSRT) as a non-surgical treatment option for skin cancer. Her clinical and research perspective spans dermatology, wound healing, regenerative medicine, and device-based innovation, making her a valuable contributor to companies focused on improving patient outcomes through technology.
Dr. Hopkins is also a committed advocate for patient access to care, including access to prescription medications and in-office treatment options that improve outcomes and reduce barriers to care. She actively supports initiatives that advance patient-centered treatment delivery and expand access to innovative dermatologic therapies.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and is dedicated to mentorship and supporting the next generation of dermatologists.
